Yoga to me is a ritual we get to create for ourselves, a mindful meditative experience, a way to take time out from external life and drop into being, the essence of which we can take from the mat out into the world. When we come together for practice, there’s an extra special potency of collective energy. And I’d love to offer guidance and be in this space with you.

I’ve been exploring yoga over the last 20+ years & teaching since 2011 between Byron Bay, Darwin and now back in my hometown Melbourne.

Originally certified in Purna Yoga - think alignment focused Hatha ranging from dynamic vinyasa to restorative - at the Byron Yoga Centre (RYT 500hrs). With further training over the years in Pre/Post Natal Yoga, ZenThai Shiatsu, Yin Yoga, Myofascial Release & Yoga for Fertility, Embodied Flow, and Somatic Movement Therapy.

Currently I’m engrossed in the study of Oriental Therapies & Shiatsu - which I love getting to share through Yin classes and seasonal workshops.

My classes in general are inspired by nature, the seasons, the weather, the time of day, moon cycles, embodied anatomy, a sutra or philosophical theme. You'll find moments of meditation, breath work (pranayama) and threads of philosophy woven into the class, along with the physical asana and time for exploration of free movement. No matter where you're at come along. I like to make my classes accessible to all, offering options within the practice so that you get to co-curate your experience.

Outside of the yoga world you’ll find me taking photos, making ceramics, cooking up feasts, attempting permaculture in the garden, cycling the Merri creek, surfing, hiking in nature, walking the dog or looking for a dance expression session.
